Vakantiebeurs 2016 - Bigger and better!

From the 12-17 January, John Corellis represented made and our clients at Vakantiebeurs, alongside City Cruises, Ripley’s believe it or not and the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and Tours.

 Vakantiebeurs is the consumer travel exhibition in The Netherlands; with a day focused on trade professionals, too. This hugely popular event was held in Utrecht, near Amsterdam and attracted consumers from across the whole of The Netherlands (and some beyond!). With a large number of Dutch travellers choosing to stay within Europe when on vacation, and 73% of trade visitors present seeking information on Europe, this was an ideal opportunity to promote London and all it has to offer.

The show was incredibly busy with 117,063 consumers looking for inspiration for their next holiday.  With an average spend of €3,146 p/visitor on holidays (Vakantiebeurs, Consumer Factsheet, 2016), consumers were looking for ways to ensure a rich and well-rounded experience on their trips for 2016 and interest in London was high. Representing our clients, made was able to promote the best of theatre, attractions and sport as key cultural activities to look forward to during a visit to London.

A great consumer show, Vakantiebeurslevel is certainly one we will be returning to next year!
